Christmas. A time of giving and forgiving. And most importantly, a time to remember Jesus Christ birth.

Pareho pa rin ang Pasko namin ng family ko, just like an ordinary day. Wala pa rin Noche Buena, wala pa rin mga firecrackers. After years of not celebrating christmas, there is not much excitement towards it. Yes, we give gifts and greet the people we love, but other than that, there is nothing special or extraordinary that we do.

We believe that the birth, the life, and the death of Jesus must be remembered everyday. It's not the exact day that counts, but how we appreciate Jesus in our lives.

My bespren and I are super duper close but we're short of being a couple. I already told her that I love her, that she is my first love, that I knew I love her even before I met her, that she is pretty, kind, smart and so much more. Sinabi naman nya na hindi nya kaya i-break ang heart ko, sasabihin nya na lang daw kung kami na. No deadlines this time... maybe eternity, hahaha!

Dec 26: An earthquake struck west of Sumatra causing three-story high tidal waves around the coast of South Asia. The tsunami killed an estimated 60 000 people and the dead could still rise. I pray for the families of the dead and the missing. I hope that those who perished have known Jesus Christ and accepted him as their savior. May God be glorified from what happened.

I hope that foreign tourist will consider visiting the Philippines in lieu of these places. There are far more beautiful and lovely places that are scattered around the archipelago. Except for the few troubled islands in the south, the central and northern islands is very very peaceful.

UPDATE: Death toll reaches 150 000 and 5M in need.
